Serving learners from
3 years old through 8th grade
Joanne is a life-long parishioner of Christ the King-St. Anthony Parish and has served on the Parish Council under the leadership of Msgr. John Fradet, Msgr. Roland Rivard, and Fr. Dan Rupp.
Joanne attended Christ the King School until the 6th grade and transferred and graduated from St. Anthony School. She is a graduate of Rice Memorial High School and Katharine Gibbs School in Boston.
In 1968, she and her husband, John, were married and were blessed with two children, Jeffrey (Andrea) and Jennifer (Jon Pizzagalli), both of whom graduated from Christ the King School (in 1985 and 1988, respectively).
Joanne’s professional career, which began before her children were born and resumed after they were in school, included Hickok and Boardman, Inc.; the University of Vermont; Shelburne News; and Shelburne Farms.
Once their grandchildren began arriving in 2005, Joanne and John joyfully embraced grandparenting. Three of their grandchildren live in Shelburne (one has graduated from and two currently attend CKS) and three live in East Lansing, MI.
Over the years, some of their dearest friends, whom they met through the parish and the school, remain an important part of their lives.
