Serving learners from
3 years old through 8th grade
Dear Christ the King School Families,
I hope your spring break was restful and enjoyable. We all earned a well deserved rest from assignments and the computer screen. As we embark on another week of online distance learning, let us remember that Christ the King is more than just a school- it is caring, family and connections. A major lesson I have learned in my first year as principal of CKS is how much I value being around the school community. This week I will be joining classes during their video sessions, with my wife and daughter, to say hello and see how students are doing. We are looking forward to seeing everyone!
This week's spirit day will be on Friday, May 1st- National Space Day. There are many opportunities to celebrate the exploration and use of space. We would love to see how you observe National Space Day. You may take pictures of activities, gear or projects as an optional fun way to learn. If you choose, please email any pictures to Jon Hughes- [email protected]
Here are some websites to explore for National Space Day:
American Museum of Natural History Astronomy Activities
National Air and Space Museum- Virtual Tours & Activities
Regards,
Dr. Dwyer
