Serving learners from
3 years old through 8th grade
We are excited for our annual Halloween costume dress up day and parade this Monday, October 31st!
The CKS Halloween Parade will start at 8:20 am out the front entrance of the school. The students will walk with their class along the route sent to parents via email. They will then (in a new tradition!) arrive at CKS to discover that each class has a Trunk or Treat vehicle! (We are trying to keep this a secret for as long as possible.)
Early Education parents/guardians (Preschool/Bridge & Pre-K) are welcome to assist their child(ren) from the classroom. All parents/guardians are welcome to join their child(ren) walking the parade route or they can head over to their grade's Trunk or Treat vehicle. Parents/Guardians choosing to walk with their child(ren)'s class should park at Callahan Park/off campus.
Costume reminder: Costumes will be worn for the parade and then students have a Halloween dress down day. If they choose not to do a Halloween/fall themed dress down day they should wear their regular CKS uniform. Costumes should be appropriate for a school setting, not include weapons, glorify the devil/demons, or be overly scary/violent.
We look forward to seeing everyone in their best costumes and to have fun as a school community!
