Dear Friends of Christ the King School,

Our theme for this year is an oldie but a goody. It is so well-liked that it is set in stone on
the front of our building: “Goodness, Discipline, Knowledge — For God and Country.”
There will never be such a thing as a surplus of goodness in our world. Discipline, I’m
sure we all know, is a skill in need of honing for people of all ages. Knowledge, similarly, is a
lifelong quest. How do we increase these virtues? Only through God. At Christ the King School,
we constantly work on these virtues, always guided by our loving God, in the peace and safety
afforded us in our wonderful country.

At Christ the King School, we enjoy freedom guided by grace. A new arrival to our
middle school program commented on our excellent Halloween displays. I responded with a
smile, “Wait until Christmas!!”

Your most excellent support of Christ the King School has allowed us to foster in our
students the abilities to be good, live with discipline, and attain and retain knowledge. Please
help us continue to nurture prepared, intelligent, and good citizens who will one day become the
stewards of our beautiful country.
