Thank you for visiting the Christ the King School web page, and for considering this special place for your child; I am very proud of what we have to share.
At Christ the King School, education isn’t merely about filling receptacles with information, it’s about an experience which has the potential to impact a life, and a lifetime. It isn’t often that we take a moment to contemplate what our legacy will be to the world. God’s grand design however, has accounted for this. Whatever our personal contributions may be, our most valuable legacy exists in the hearts and potential of our children.
At Christ the King School, we are blessed with over 220 individual peeks at the future, and each day it fills me with joy and hope. If you were to walk through the halls of our Early Education Department, you would see skeleton art, friends hugging a hurt classmate, and students using pattern blocks to count. But only look a bit deeper, and you would see a future where the sparks of an interest in medicine, caregiving and accounting have first taken root. Explore our elementary school, and you would see students learning social studies lessons about the Underground Railroad, blasting homemade rockets into the sky and training to be altar servers. Close your eyes, and you can picture a glimpse of a future where attorneys fight for social justice, scientists push the boundaries of knowledge, and the call to vocations has been answered. Step into our middle school, and you will see Student Council officers meeting to plan a Christian service event, students playing basketball in the gym, or in the tech lab designing personal websites to explore their learning styles and highlight their best work. It’s not too great a leap then, to see future civil servants, athletes, coaches and the gurus of kinds of technology that have not even been invented yet…the seeds of which, were all humbly planted here. But these seeds have something more. They are planted in the fertile soil of Faith, making all this wonder, learning and play part of something greater, and making this a future worth investing in.
I hope you will take some time to explore our website, but you are also invited to come visit us in person. Call to schedule a tour, or schedule an appointment with me to discuss all the wonderful possibilities Catholic education has to offer. I look forward to meeting you.
